Audiologist
Nisreen Alkhayer is originally from Syria. She has a master’s degree in speech-language pathology from a joint program between Damascus University and University of Jordan and completed her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree at Illinois State University. She moved to Los Angeles County from Normal, Illinois for her externship where she received extensive training in hearing aids and balance assessment and treatment.
During her five years working as a speech-language pathologist, Dr. Alkhayer became more interested in the field of audiology. Her interest originated from the fact that many people, specifically children, do not receive the audiology services they need from professionals.
Dr. Alkhayer has been serving patients in Orange County since 2015, providing the best possible care and appropriate recommendations. Her goal is to improve the quality of life of individuals who are diagnosed with hearing loss and could benefit from amplification.
Dr. Alkhayer enjoys meeting people from various backgrounds. She is fluent in Arabic and English and speaks a little Spanish.
